Principal Engineer

Dennis Boratynec is a seasoned licensed Geotechnical Engineer and Vice President of LGC Geotechnical, a premiere geotechnical engineering firm known for its pioneering work in land development. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the industry, Dennis’s journey in geotechnical engineering began in the corridors of academia, where he first dipped his toes in the industry working at a geotechnical laboratory during the summers of his college years. This early exposure ignited a passion for the discipline and has fueled his career ever since.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dennis is a dedicated family man, sharing his life with his wife of 23 years and two college-aged children. His role as a husband and father is a source of immense pride and joy, grounding him and providing a cherished counterbalance to his demanding career.

 

In his free time, Dennis is an avid golfer and traveler. He revels in exploring new destinations, with a particular fondness for beach vacations and cultural journeys through Europe. These experiences not only enrich his personal life but also inspire his professional work, providing fresh perspectives and an appreciation for diversity. Additionally, Dennis enjoys unwinding in the comfort of his home, enjoying a backyard bar-b-que and creating memorable moments with his friends and family.

 

Dennis' blend of professional expertise, passion for land development and commitment to family and friendship embodies the essence of a well-rounded leader. His contributions to LGC Geotechnical and the geotechnical engineering field at large continue to set benchmarks for excellence and innovation.

As a co-founder of LGC Geotechnical, Dennis has been at the forefront of numerous landmark projects across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial and public works. His visionary approach to land development is driven by a deep commitment to innovation, sustainability and the creation of new vibrant communities.
